Who's behind ALEXILLE?

Bonjour,

my name is Astrid and I am French.
I am originally from a small village in a region called Berry in France. A beautiful untouched country area where the time stopped and people are easy going and will invite you at their table even if they don't know you...

I try to go back there every Summer to take a big breath a fresh air, reconnect with my family and longtime friends, enjoy a late evening under a lime tree and the stars, stroll on the paved streets of the city, go to a little town market and buy cheeses, fresh fruits and veggies and discuss how we should change the world with someone I don't know in front of the bakery...  and get some inspiration for my future pieces...Oh and I forgot...eat, eat, eat and nap...
I always had this urge of traveling, discovering new countries, new landscapes, new cultures, new ways of life, new people and new food.
I lived in France, Great Britain, Ireland and currently in Austin in Texas.
I say currently because you never know what life has in store for you!
I also went to Spain, Italy, St Lucia, the Dominican Republic, Turks and Caicos, La Guadeloupe, Mexico, China, Japan and several american States including Hawaii -Maui.


We have 2 wonderful children. Camille - 15 years old and Alexandre - 10 years old.
